The Nursing Assistance Project places you in a local healthcare facility to shadow nurses, observe patient care, and learn about clinical operations. You may rotate through various units and assist in health campaigns. Spanish proficiency, a proactive attitude, and compassion are essential for effective participation.

The project offers a volunteer experience with a minimum stay of four weeks, working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 1/2 PM. An intermediate level of Spanish is required, and volunteers contribute a weekly donation of $15 + Internationally and Nationally Valid Certification
Tasks include assisting with basic patient care, such as taking vital signs and supporting mobility, helping maintain cleanliness and organization in patient areas, and providing comfort and companionship to patients under the supervision of nursing staff.
Volunteers should have a genuine interest in healthcare, show compassion for patients, be adaptable to fast-paced environments, possess basic Spanish skills, and be willing to follow instructions and learn from experienced professionals.
