Dog Shelters
$270.00
Nowadays, in Cusco, there are several animal shelters in the city, which include not only dogs but also cats, other domestic animals, and even wildlife. The mission of each of these shelters is to rescue abused, abandoned, and injured animals from the streets, striving to save as many lives as possible. Unfortunately, in Peru, not all people properly care for their pets, whether due to lack of awareness or neglect. For this reason, the shelters focus not only on rescue efforts but also on educating the community about responsible ownership, health, and sterilization. They organize awareness campaigns to inform and sensitize the local population on how to properly care for their animals.
