This unique 4-week program combines hands-on experience at both a Dog Shelter and a Wildlife Rescue Center. Project Profile
This project requires a minimum stay of 2 weeks at the Dog Shelter + 2 weeks at the Wildlife Rescue Center, with flexible Monday to Friday schedules (morning or afternoon shifts). Volunteers need a basic level of Spanish and are asked to contribute a one-time donation of $60 to support the resources and care at both centers + Internationally and Nationally Valid Certification
Tasks
Volunteers will care for and provide attention to the animals (dogs and wildlife), assist in cleaning living spaces and habitats, support feeding routines and dietary monitoring, collaborate in environmental and social enrichment activities, and help with basic training or rehabilitation tasks.
Good to Know
You may get dirty during activities, so we recommend bringing comfortable clothes and shoes. We value your patience, initiative, and above all, your respect and affection for the animals at both centers.
