Nursing Home

The only thing achieved without effort is old age.

Our volunteer program collaborates with nursing homes in Cusco—institutions dedicated to providing comprehensive care for vulnerable elderly individuals. These organizations offer housing, balanced nutrition, medical attention, and emotional support to seniors who lack family support or financial resources.

Volunteers actively participate in daily activities at the center, supporting various areas based on current needs and personal skills. Tasks may include assisting in the dining hall, accompanying residents during rehabilitation therapies, organizing recreational activities, and providing emotional support to the elderly.

The team consists of healthcare professionals, social workers, and support staff who, together with volunteers, strive to create a warm and dignified environment for approximately 100 seniors. This experience offers insight into the social realities of the elderly in Peru while directly contributing to improving their quality of life.
