The Painting Workshop fosters artistic expression and skill development, supporting 5 resident artists and over 10 community artists with materials and exhibition opportunities. A team of instructors, art therapists, and coordinators also leads mobile workshops and community art projects.
Descripción
The project offers a volunteer experience with a minimum stay of one day, during the morning shift from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Volunteers are required to be verbally fluent in Spanish. Participation includes a one-time donation of $80, which covers workshop involvement and a certificate valid nationally and internationally.
Tasks include preparing materials, guiding participants in color use and composition, creating murals or small art projects, and encouraging free creativity.
Volunteers should wear clothes that can get dirty and bring artistic sensitivity, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching or experimenting with art.
