In this project, you will take on the role of a teaching assistant in a secondary school. You will observe and support the teacher, help supervise the classroom, assist students with their homework, and most importantly, contribute to the teaching process. Your support may involve subjects such as English, another language, mathematics, or sports, depending on your personal interests and the areas where help is most needed. Additionally, you might even have the chance to lead a class of your own.

Project Perfile

This program requires a minimum stay of 1 day and maximum 3 weeks, with flexible morning (9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) or afternoon (3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.) shifts. Volunteers need a Basic to Intermediate level of Spanish and are asked to contribute a one-time donation of $60 to support the initiative + Internationally and Nationally Valid Certification

Tasks

As a volunteer, you will supervise the class, observe and assist the teachers, and help students with their homework. You will also support English teaching by explaining grammar, assisting with pronunciation, and designing activities or assignments. Additionally, you will contribute to sports education by explaining theoretical aspects of the sport, giving instructions, assisting with practice, and preparing lessons.
